That is something that Rainer Pick loves to do with his audience as you can determine yourself what is going to happen in the story.

That is how the story of the 8-year old Flora-Lena and her big friend Benno came about, who find a sparrow injured by a common buzzard in the snow.
They help the sparrow and the buzzard. The former with a scarf to keep him warm and to safeguard his broken wing. The latter by painting a big sign to show him where the mice are so that he has no need to hunt sparrows.
