It was built with a regular granite brickwork in the second half of the 13th century .
A complete renewal of the church took place at the end of the 19th century, whereby a brick tower with slate covering was newly built and an east-gable was erected, which is one of the prettiest east-conclusion of the West Pomerania village church.

2nd half of the 13th century - Building of a first church in Blumberg
A new altar is being built in 1707, which is still today present at the church; with the coat-of-arms and signature of the then patron, Georg Heinrich von Sydow and his wife Eleonore.

Characteristic: Tower hall with vaulting made from untreated erratic blocks
The big bell stems from the year 1671 and as so many other bells from the region Stettin.
