Churches at the Amt Brüssow/Uckermark
image author: Frank Preuß Menkin - The northernmost village of the district Uckermark surprises with a landmark that survived luckily the violent fights of 2nd World War.
The early gothic rectangle stone church from the 13th century is not only well worth seeing form the outside but most of all from the inside.
Inside you will find a renaissance altar elaborately decorated with wood carvings and a renaissance pulpit from 1599, the pewage stems from the year 1637.

Further lovely details inside: Weihekreuze (crosses) from the edification time in the 13th century. 32 children's death signs from the 18th century.
The church was completely redeveloped between 1995 and 2000 with the help of the Deutschen Stiftung Denkmalschutz.
