The most north-easterly village of the district Uckermark surprises with a landmark that luckily survived the violent battles of the 2nd World War.

The early gothic rectangle stone church from the 13th century is not only worth seeing from the outside but also especially inside.

Inside you'll find a renaissance altar decorated with wood carving works and a lectern from the 1599; the pewage is from the year 1637.

The village that was mainly formed by the lord of the manor Joachim von Winterfeld has lovingly restored houses.

Apart from one agricultural business there is also a carpenter and a Kita in the village.

At the main road Brüssow-Löcknitz is a big tavern, situated that is very popular with truckers as well as tourists.

Over Löcknitz and the border crossing Linken it is not far to Stettin.
