The lovely old Ackerbürgerstadt Angermünde has become since the beginning of 2004 bigger and even more pretty. Because, since then 22 extreme interesting, individual and unusual boroughs of the Uckermark became part of the place at the Mündesee.

Small dreamy villages, unconventional nature rarities and unusual architecture make the town with its historical town centre now more attractive. Even locals are filled with astonishment. One is acquainted with the names, knows that they have existed for centuries but what the villages and little towns brought into the town is a wonderful enrichment for Angermünde. Every village with its special and specific characteristics is a little gem is itself and enhances the town.
